“ A fun ramen place! They make a great cozy ramen that warms the soul. I've liked every ramen I've tried from them- the chicken katsu is amazing. I love their curry as well. I've had their sushi a couple times and it was decent, but I love their other dishes more. They have a huge menu!! It's hard to choose!! The staff is nice and there's a cool area to watch the chefs make the sushi ”
“ Another lovely lunch experience at Ahi today. I absolutely love their hot and sour soup. So good. They also make one of the best crispy salmon skin hand rolls. Sadly i am forgetting tue name of the special roll they had. It was delicious! And as always the sashimi roll and volcano roll are amazing ”
“ Awesome service and delicious food!!! Ambiance was relaxing, perfect temperature and soothing music playing in the background ”
“ I ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner tonight since my favorite bento boxes are only for lunch orders. Unfortunately, the chicken was very rubbery once I bit into the chicken slices. I made 3 different attempts to bite into other chicken slices and they also were very rubbery. I called the server over and told her the chicken was rubbery and probably due to being undercooked. She apologized and later the manager came over and asked if I wanted another entree which I replied with the beef teriyaki entree. It took 10 minutes and once this dish arrived, they brought extra rice that was piping hot, and waited into I tasted the beef which was very flavorful and satisfactory. Once I asked for a takeout box, a free dessert arrived and an explanation by the manager that the price of the entree was reduced to a reasonable price for the replacement. This was more than fair and not even expected. Thank you for making up for an undercooked dish and making this right to this Yelper. ”
“ First time to Ahi....what a menu to select from! A combination of sushi...Chinese...Raman..hibachi...and more! Had the Mongolian Beef and white rice which was excellent. Wife had the garlic shrimp which was also very tasty. The waitress was very nice and the place was clean. Looks more like a bar & grill than a fine restaurant. Did not have an alcoholic drink during lunch but there were many that look good to me. Worth a try in my opinion! ”
“ I just discovered Boba Tea here!! I'm so excited they prepared the Mango flavored milk tea w Mango balls -no sugar added & light ice! I enjoy those options! They prepared this drink quickly so if you're diving by & looking for a refreshing drink stop here! $5 for a large won't break the bank! My other reviews state how delicious their food is! ”
“ This place has something for everyone. Good sushi selection. Solid apps. Nice cooked salmon and teriyaki dishes. It's more of an Asian fusion restaurant than a sushi place. Stop in and check them out. ”
“ The Omaha Sushi Project takes on Ahi Sushi for stop #5!! We were immediately impressed with the super cute vibes! It reminded me of the sushi house in Monsters Inc! They are more than just a sushi place so the menu was extensive!! We split 3 rolls as usual - a classic roll and two specials. They definitely had a wide variety and pictures of some too! Only weird thing was the spicy annotation on rolls that had no spicy elements. We opted for the Fantasy Roll, Gold Point Roll, and the Star roll. They were all really great and had different characteristics so they didn't blend all together. Service was great and they all wore these super cute, punny Tshirts! Overall this place was really good but I think next time we go with more adventurous options. Don't forget to follow our Yelp Talk and Collection - The Omaha Sushi Project Presentation - 2 Taste - 4 Crunch - 3 Variety of Menu - 3 Price - $$ ”
“ We strolled in for lunch and were quickly seated. As soon as we sat at our table we realized that our table was not very well balanced and extremely wobbly. So we went right to the sushi bar and sat there. No big deal. We always over order our sushi rolls and today was no exception. I think we ordered 7 rolls that way we have leftovers. A large order like that takes time to prepare, but our drinks were kept full the entire time and we chatted with the chef. Our server was great. The sushi was above and beyond most in the area. Everything was amazing. As we were leaving I asked the chef about the bubble tea and if I was missing anything. Turns out he and I share a love for Earl Gray and Oolong tea. He suggested the Earl Gray float with brown sugar bubbles. I have to say, just like the food he made for us, he nailed it. I think I'm obsessed now. There are several sushi joints around town and while I have been here many times, I had not enjoyed it as much as I did today. From now on. I'll belly up to bar and just maybe eat a few bites less so that I can get an extra large Earl Gray float ”
